Any one had experience, good or bad, with contacting a Christian Debt Consolidation company?

Credit card debit, college loans and medical bills are at critical levels and am way over my head. Trying to make monthly payments, but that is not enough. Not eating out or wearing new clothes, just not making enough money. Considering turning to a debt consolidation service, but not sure about who would be safe and secure to go through. Thanks for any input.

Will debt consolidation lower my credit score?
melaniemia7 asked:
I have about $7,000 in credit card debt that I’ve aquired during the past 4 years of college. Now I’m graduated, can’t find a decent job, and going back to grad school. I’m having trouble even paying the minimum, and was wondering if I consolidated my debt if this would hurt my credit score. Oh yeah and I owe $30,000 in student loans, but those have already been consolidated.

I have a $6,000 credit card debt. I want to pay it off, is consolidation an option?
MJ asked:
I am a college student. I graduate this July and I want to start paying off all my debt. I need to know what other options I have besides trying to settle with the collection companies because they ask to either pay it off or they require a big chuck of money then monthly payments and I cant quite do that just yet. Although I do want to pay it off as soon as possible. Would you recommend debt consolidation or do you know of any other options? Only nice answers please.

I currently have about $4,000 worth of credit card debt..not a huge amount, but a burden on the brain nonetheless. I make about $1,100 a month (yes..I’m in college) and was wondering what a fast way to get my cards paid down would be.

Do debt consolidation loans hurt your credit? Right now they don’t sound like a good idea.
Anybody have any strategies they use to get their cards paid down?

I have racked up about $10,000 in credit card debt stemming from college and medical expenses. What is my best option as I am still a student and working with a very limited budget? Are there hidden catches to debt consolidation companies; if so what?
What is the best way to negotiate with creditors to lower the debt?
