Do you think that student debt should be forgiven as a way to stimulate the economy?

Ive been doing a lot of student loan research and apparently there is a new movement of people trying to get their student debt wiped away, so that their money can be freed up to be spent, thus stimulating the economy. How do you feel about it?

Will Revenue Canada take our refund to pay off my student loan debt?

Since I owe money on my student loan I haven’t received what little bit I was entitled to get back, it goes to repayment. What I want to know is, since I now have no personal income and have to file under my husband, will they take his refund? With out income, can I still file my own seperately and just include the Universal Child Care supplement that I receive?
