Can my girlfriend claim my student loan intrest?

Help asked:

I was wondering if my girlfriend can claim the intrest on my student loan , Instead of me filing an amendment to my tax return.
She would give me cash to make the payment , and I would make the payments from my bank account. She can’t prove that she gave me the money , so I was wondering if that would be a problem for her for trying to claim the intrest write-off.

What is my chance of getting a private student loan?

KLLMLL22 asked:

I have bad credit and definately need a co-signer, which I have. My relative has like a 720 score, but on retired SS, limited income. Are there any easy companies to get approved for a student loan. All federal aid exhausted, so this is my only option. Anyone with a similar experience?

Since my son became disabled, his student loan defaulted and they actually take money from his social security check each month. The loan cancellation process is quite time consuming and still in limbo until all paperwork is done. Does anyone know if Dept of Ed takes the stimulas pymt?

What happens if a student private loan cosigner passes away?

Steve S asked:

Just curious about what happens, I have a $50,000 private student loan out and it was cosigned by my grandmother so I could recieve a much better interest rate. I am wondering what happens when she passes away? Assuming I make my payments and my account is in good standing, they wouldnt take it away from her retirement accounts or any savings she has right? Any details are appreciated.
