I don’t have any credit card debt, and I have saved for a 6 month contingency fund. I’d like to focus on one of these debts to pay down first. I’d like to know which debt is considered the “worst.” For example, I know credit card debt is something you should pay off first. So, really, regardless of the interest rates I’m paying, I’d like to know which debt is considered the “worst” as far as my credit rating. (Also, each payment is about the same per month.)

Pay Off Credit Card Debt

I’m working this summer (about 28-35 hrs/wk)and literally putting all my paychecks towards my bills and gas except all I’m doing is paying off high interest and cannot seem to lower my balance on my credit cards. When I start school at the end of August I will only be working 11 hours in between classes on campus so how am I suppose to pull this off other than getting another job?? I have $2900 on a Sears mastercard alone with 23% apr and I wanted to do a 0% balance transfer…i researched it for a while, but when I apply I don’t get accepted. I think of how many people have thousands and thousands of debt and think maybe my situation isn’t AS BAD as I’m making it out to be. But it is! I’m 21 and stressed about financial issues rather than living my life AND I’m ruining future possibilities for loans, ect by ruining my credit score. All my cc have at least 16% VARIABLE apr. How do i get rid of them asap?
Come on people…I’m talking real advice here….

Debt Consolidation Company

I’ve paid WAY ahead, which some sources say has actually hurt my score by as much as 15 points. I know that the type of dept you have affects your credit score and student loan debt as a higher percentage of your overall debt is better than having 100 percent credit card debt even though I pay off the entire balance of my card every month. I was thinking if I kept $1,000 of student loan debt that might be favorable to zero, giving me some points for an older account and mitigating the size of whatever is on my credit card when they rate me, but I don’t know. Am I better off with zero or some? I have no idea.

Bad Consolidate Credit Debt
