Consolidating Credit Card Debt
My student loans are destroying me. I need help what do I do?
I am in dire need of guidance and information pertaining to my rights and options as a student loan borrower. Is there assistance for students with loans to help repay them? I am yet to finish my schooling but I am truly afraid to continue my education. My loan amount keeps growing and my parents are struggling just to take care of themselves. I come from a struggling family and am the first to pursue a college education, but my foresight and basic calculations on my budgeting have granted me no applicable routes of repayment. Even with consolidation my minimum monthly payments will be over five hundred a month and thats more than half my current monthly income working full time. My loans are causing me a great sense of helplessness and I fear that they dictate my life entirely, I wish to become a far greater person and to help my family. I really need help and guidance with this. Thank you.

What is the best way to get rid of credit card debt?
Hi All. I’m a recent college grad who is fairly new to the workforce and is ready to get rid of her credit card debt!! I was fortunate enought not to borrow much in student loans (a total of about $9,000), however by grad time I owed about 9 thousand in credit card debt. Now I am ready to get rid of this burden. I know that this sounds horrible, but my situation was very different than that of the average student. I am a mother and was raising my daughter the whole time during college. Instead of working full time I focused on my studies and only worked part time. Needless to say this made everything harder but in the end it was worth it. Also, I’m not looking for an overnight solution. It took me six years to accumulate this debt so I know it wont disappera overnight. I’m just looking for the best way to go about it. Please help!

If you have student loan debt, should you put off marriage until more is paid off?
I am in grad school and have a lot of student loan debt to Sallie Mae. We’re talking about 60 or 70 K by the time I graduate from grad school.
I feel overwhelmed and wonder if I’ll ever be able to pay it off. Do you think it’s stupid to get married – even if it’s to the love of your life – if you have so much debt?
I’m 28 and would be 30 by the time I graduate. My boyfriend has no debt, but he doesn’t really make that much money anyway.
I work part time to paid rent and gas, but have to take out loans for tuition and other living expenses. I live very frugally. It’s just impossible to work full time while in this grad program. It’s too difficult.
I am going to be an urban planner…they make about 50 k per year on average.
well, the national median pay is 60K, but I don’t think I’ll be starting out with those wages.
